Excellent facility in an Eco tent. No TV fridge or air con. Heavy duty fan did the job. Stayed an extra night.

Great location closexto town beach. Excellent pools, enjoyed having a room that opened up to the main pool.

We loved our stay at this very charming and unique property. The property is small and intimate with a lot of charm. It has a fascinating history and has been the home of a major figure of Broome’s history, Lord McAlpine after whom it is named. He is a major contributor to the development of Broome into the charming town it has become preserving its special historical character as a pearling center. The owner of the property is a lovely woman who engaged with us about the history of the property and Broome whose own family has a history with the pearling industry there. We strongly recommend a stay at the Pinctada McAlpine House.

We were placed in a disability room, the room and bathroom were clean but there was only one shower curtain when two were needed to cover the exposed areas to stop the spray from getting over toilet etc. The most frustrating thing was that the shower water did not drain into the drain hole but flowed out towards the main part of the bathroom and towards the bedroom door. We put towels etc down to try and stop this, they all got soaked. Work needs to be done on this drainage issue!
